When September ends...
What a month fuuuuh. I must say this is the most colourful month of 2009, for me. Hope yours was as good as mine.




To Adik, Happy Birthday or rather Joyeux Anniversaire in french. I love you brother. Yes 22 is a good number of pair. Hope you like the iphone. (This is the seventh wish. I did wish him on the Sept 24th with the GMT correction).

And to all, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri again. It's the 11th day.

Unconventional

I was having a routine supper with my usual crowd. It was 3am. Suddenly we were talking about an unconventional topic, umrah. I couldn't agree more with Husni, that one who decided not to perform umrah due to some reason- mentally unprepared is okay. A good call actually.

We find, that it is no point to perform umrah if you are still the same person or worse before you performed it. You should be wiser after the umrah, I think. You know what I mean. Well of course most of you won't agree with us. Maybe we are able to opt not to perform umrah due to our unlimited chance to perform umrah without having to pay RM6k (current rate I believe).

Another 2 cents of mine. And Husni.

Revisited

It's Amsterdam again! Here's a bit of the photos that I've took during my 31st August visit. A public musical sing-a-long concert in the square. Lyrics were shown on the huge display on the stage. It was fantastic and free =) . Check out the video. The 9-years old kid was brilliant.

Emotional Iftar

September 7th 2009

Adik is going back to Paris tonight, after his 2-months long summer holiday. Mama and Abah is around to send him off. In fact, everybody is home today. Buka puasa today is going to be huge. Mama cooked her signarture Hari Raya's rendang ayam, udang masak cili and of course, the famous gulai ketam.

But the gulai ketam was made ready late, due to my inefficiency during Ramadhan (tehehe) . Only by 6.30pm, all the ingredients for gulai ketam was ready and available (Nasib baik Giant dekat dengan rumah) . When the azan Maghrib was louded in air, the gulai ketam was still on the stove. We all munch the kuih first. Mama said something while stirring the gulai ketam. And adik suddenly was at his lowest point of emotion. I almost reach that point.

September 8th 2009

And now, adik is safely landed in France. All of us talked about that moment during yesterdays's buka puasa. STG and I agreed it was very emotional what Mama has said yesterday. We all love you Mama. There's no substitute. Your cook by far, is the best in the world, to us.

Best Rice Meal

Something I had for sahur a week ago.

I reckoned it was the best rice meal I ever had at 39000 feet, Nasi Kandar Kayu with ayam and sotong (kalau cakap kat Kayu masa beli nasi ni sure dapat diskaun, takpon free hehe) . Sorry if you find the presentation of the food is disguisting. I thought of taking the picture of it only after eating it half-way thru. Had it for sahur =p

Half an hour later, virgin Japanese sunrise. Beautiful yet annoying =)

Monkey Moment

A while ago (30 minutes tadi), I decided to change Monkey's url to flynorthernmonkey from northernmonkey360. I think it is much more better, in a way. But during shower, something flashed in. Alamak, macam mana diorang nak tau URL baru Monkey? So, tadaaa!!! A pure demostration of monkey in = monkey out moment, lasted for 30 minutes haha. And Monkey is back to his old url =)

Checking In

It's been almost a week, since I last post on my dearly Northern Monkey. Been busy lately. Kerja banyak. Actually I have lotsa thing to write, but I just cant choose one. Can't decide on what to be translated into words (OK I was lying haha). Malas was more like it. And plus, it is Ramadhan. The malas-ness thickened. Later today, I shall be posting something again. Before I go, how's everybody doing? Yeah? No? Anyway I hope each and everyone of you are doing good. Despite of NMonkey not having any update, the unique count is still coming in. Thank you for stalking in and sorry for not checking in =)

ASTRO's Ah Seng Part 2

After fiddling with the decoder's wiring and was being left off for almost 2 days, the black box decided to operate normally. Wallah! Problem solved and my RM100 is save for now. I'm a hundred ringgit richer =) . So there won't be any ASTRO's Ah Seng will be coming over.
