Post Scriptum

Somebody did bring up this issue...

WHY PSS? WHY PSSSS? Why there's plenty of Ss'?
Aren't ps supposed to mean post scriptum?

Well, yes. Use in modern days as post script, ps lists in the Oxford English Dictionary both with and without full stops (PS/P.S.). Okay! But why did I use a psss where it supposed to be a PPS or PPPS or PPPPS instead of my PSS, PSSS, PSSSS and so on in the first place?

According to wikipedia, a "P.S.S." (Post-subscript) or "P.P.S." (Post-postscript) is sometimes used to allow the letter writer to add even more thoughts after the first postscript. To continue, a third postscript would be a P.P.P.S. and so on, although these additions are rarely used in practice and would probably be deemed poor style.

Yup poor style. So this is my blog and I reckoned it should have it's own identity. After a bit of improvising, I deemed that PSSSS should be it. A bit unique don't you think? No? Doesn't matter. To me, it is the NM, Northern Monkey's identity. Pretty cute and cool in it's own way. And instead of post scriptum, or post script in today's language, my PSSSS should be read as psssss. Psssss as in whispering =)

Thank you for dropping by to this blog. Thank you for your time and happy reading.
