52nd Birthday

It's our 52nd National Day and I can't find where is Malaysian embassy kat Amsterdam ni.
Or it's actually is in The Hague? haha nevermind. The spirit that matters kan?

Just a bit of my personal thought.
Why I use National, not Merdeka?
I think, Merdeka will remind us of being colonised instead of the nationalism towards our beloved Malaysia. So I reckon, it would be much proper to loud Happy 52nd National Day or rather Selamat Hari Kebangsaan ke-52 instead of Happy 52nd Merdeka Day and Selamat Hari Kemerdekaan ke 52.

Duuuuhhh cerita mesti hero kan? (kan mama kan?kalau tak baik jangan cerita kan?). What are you going to tell the mat salehs when they ask what is Merdeka? Fake and lie to them? haha. You don't tell the world that Malaysia was weak, being colonised before and get Merdeka-ed. You know what I mean kan?

Anyway it's just my 2 cents =)

ASTRO's Ah Seng Part 1

My 6 years old satellite decoder has kaput (it's a German my friend, tanpa disedari hebat jugak orang Melayu boleh cakap German, ting-ting-ting a 1Malaysia achievement).

And the stupid ASTRO were asking for RM50 (of the maintenance surcharge alone) if they were to send me a technician to fix it out. And to replace my decoder, I'm pretty sure they are going charge some extra Ringgit, at least RM100 I think. ASTRO tu service provider! Kalau customer tak dapat service, diorang patut buat maintenance for free la. Bongok betul. Bloody cut throat punya ASTRO.

So now my problem solving skill will have to kick in haha. Heard of ASTRO's Ah Seng? Next week, I'm gonna give ASTRO's Ah Seng a ring, and asked him whether he have a new set of decoder. Buying an unsubscribable decoder, wouldn't be a much kowtim problem kot since now it's a recession. We shall see how it turn to be. Stay tune.

The 8th Day

It's the 8th day of the holy Ramadhan and congratulation to all of us who has made to this far. As for me, tarawikh count is still zero. Haih apa nak jadi ni? As usual I will be mencari rezeki yang halal again today after a day off yesterday, which I think I have spent it wisely in my own way, of course =) .

Kumar has introduced her fiance to us; Hud(dah 2 kali jumpa), Ayol and myself. Hi Zay!!! And Kumar succesfully refrained himself from consuming a cigarette after iftar. Terer punya coverline brother. High five skit!

My brother today, made his way to Ho Chih Minh, Vietnam to spend his off days. Survey skit untuk trip kita nanti. But during Ramadhan? Good luck la eh. Just don't forget to get me something cool.

Aug 19th, around mid day at office. Out of nowhere came Mr J, and instantly I raised my hand acknowledging him.

Mr J : Heyyy Birthday boy...
Me : Hehehehe. What's up brother??? The wonders of facebook aye?
Mr J : Happy Birthday. Semalam kan? So belated la nih?
Me : (Paused momentarily with a brisk smile) Ha-ah...

Mr J is a fellow collegue, former sub-department mate, is now an avid mountain climber. We had a brief chat about mountain climbing. He recomends me to backpack Indo-China eg. Cambodia, which he paid only RM300 for a week trip. Imagine USD1 for a 3 persons' lunch meal.

Today, my brothers and I are going home to break fast with Mama and Abah. Pretty excited. Can't imagine how the food would be.

Ditch The Sins

Again, the holy month of Ramadhan or better known as Ramadhan al-Mubarak is here, and I would like to wish all of my fellow Muslims, Selamat Berpuasa; Happy Fasting. Insyaallah, thoroughout this Ramadhan, we will be blessed by The Almighty Allah S.W.T.

Post Holiday

Vondelpark, Amsterdam

Yes, Netherlands was a pure awesome. And I'm still in the holiday mood. But dang! I need to be back to work by today's mid day. Crap! Crappy feeling.

Husni throwed a small birthday celebration for me last night. And this is for the second consecutive year. Thanks a lot brother. Nice tiramisu. Kalau lu awek, gua dah buat girlfriend dah haha.
